Just to be 100% clear- I just installed iTunes 12.6.4.3, and if I use iPhone4.711.2.615D100Restore.ipsw to update iPhone (6S) to iOS 11.4.1, I will still be able to do full backups to desktop, download & update apps via iTunes, and maintain same functionality (minus ability to do further updates to iTunes/iOS from iTunes 12.6.4.3) as I was able to do with iOS 11.2.6 (and iTunes 12.6.2)? Sep 10, 2014 iTunes 11.4 now supports the ability to sync your favorite music, movies, and more to devices with iOS 8. ITunes Screenshots. ITunes 10.5.2 includes several improvements for iTunes Match and fixes an audio distortion problem when playing or importing certain CDs. I updated and synchronised iOS 9 PB1 (on an iPhone 5) with iTunes 11.4 (on Mac OS X 10.9.5) just fine. I can't say anything about later betas, reverted back to 8.4. I have high hopes it will work in the final version too, I'm not too thrilled with iTunes 12.
